Southern Suns is a new initiative launched by the well-established, not-for-profit organization behind South East Melbourne Magic (SEM Magic) basketball club. As SEM Magic’s sister club, Southern Suns operates under the same management but is designed to offer a more flexible and accessible basketball experience.
Unlike SEM Magic, which emphasizes structured player development, Southern Suns provides a no-fuss pathway for players who want to create their own teams or join with friends. Whether you're new to the game or an experienced player looking for a more relaxed approach, the Suns make it easy to get involved.
